Darkroom Finally Launched

I’ve been working hard getting Darkroom and the Darkroom Website up and running, but it’s all finally done, and open to the public.

Have a look!

Darkroom is a project I have been working on for a few years since being the Photo Editor at the UCSD Guardian. It is a response to the pressing needs of newspaper photo departments for a cohesive organization, scheduling, and image management application. I originally built the system to make my own job easier, but with feedback from the Guardian and other publications (Thanks UCI, USD!) it has since grown to be much more.

The UCSD Guardian uses Darkroom for every publication, and it has become an integral part of their pipeline. Now, having graduated, I am working on bringing Darkroom to other school papers, local papers, and weekly papers in California in the next few months. Do you know anyone who works at a newspaper? I’d love to hear from you. (You could earn a big referral fee!)
