A Compulsively Obsessing Blog

Long Hiatus!

As you’ve likely noticed, I haven’t been updating lately – I’ve been busy launching a new company, Limbic Software, and pushing some really cool stuff with games on the iPhone.

Our first game, TowerMadness, was featured by Apple in the iTunes App Store, won a few awards, was generally applauded by the gaming media and as of this writing, 200,000 rounds have been submitted to our online scoring server.

TowerMadness was recently the subject of some press for its unique anti-cheat abilities, addressing the growing problem of online leaderboard cheating for mobile games. I’ll be writing an article soon about this topic, and our experiences from the front.

We’ve learned a lot in the past eight months about the iTunes App Store market in general, and I’m hoping to make these lessons the focus of future articles. Are there any topics of particular interest to you, as readers?
